Arachnophobes, beware, this blog post is not for the faint of heart. Real people from around the world have shared their most terrifying spider encounters. From the venomous to the gigantic, these frightening stories will make you think twice before ever going near a spider again.
We've all heard scary stories about spiders. Whether it's a friend of a friend who had a close encounter with a venomous spider or a horror movie where gigantic, man-eating spiders run amok, it seems like everyone has a spooky spider story to share. But what's the truth behind these stories? Are spiders really as dangerous as people make them out to be?
The Venomous Spider
"One night, I was getting ready for bed when I saw a huge spider on my pillow. I tried to kill it, but it ran away. I looked for it everywhere but couldn't find it. I went to bed and tried to forget about it. A few hours later, I woke up in excruciating pain. The spider had bitten me! I went to the hospital and found out that the spider was poisonous. I was in the hospital for weeks, and it was the most terrifying experience of my life."
The Giant Spider
"I was on a hike with my friends when we came across a cave. We decided to explore it, and that's when we saw it. The biggest spider we had ever seen. It was as big as a human! We ran away as fast as we could and never went back to that cave again."
While human-sized spiders aren't real, they sure do make for a good campfire story!
"I was home alone one night when I saw a spider on the ceiling. I sprayed it with poison, and it fell to the floor dead. A few minutes later, I saw another one in the same spot! I killed that one, too, but no matter how many times I sprayed that area, more spiders kept appearing! It was like they were coming out of thin air. Finally, I just gave up and left the house. I still don't know what was ,happening, but it was really creepy."
It might seem like this exact thing happens in your own home sometimes. If the canned treatments aren't cutting it, give us a call!
While spiders may seem creepy and dangerous, most of them are actually harmless to humans. However, a few species of spiders can cause serious health problems if they bite you. So if you're ever unlucky enough to come across one of these eight-legged critters, it's important to know how to avoid getting bitten. With that said, we hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and that it didn't give you too much of a fright!
